Blocking It All Out
You know, my law classes wouldn't be half bad if I could just keep my MP3 player on full-force while the professor lectures.
Seriously.
I am at the point where when ever a professor even opens his or her mouth I just want to scream "Just shut the fuck up, would you?" No one really cares. I can learn what you're spewing forth from books and not have to endure the vocal nightmare.
Sigh... perhaps I'm just stressed.
I finished the big writing assignment for the semester. Did it in a couple of hours. I'm not sure why everyone stresses about it so much. Research and writing isn't that big of a deal, just relatively boring and time consuming. I'll never work for a law firm where I would be forced to write memos to partners clarifying issues of law on a client's case. I couldn't handle it. I would be too tempted to say "You know how to do this crap, look it up yourself. I have my own clients." That whole hierarchy of the professional food chain would drive me insane.
I've never been good with authority.
Well, time to take a 100 question multiple choice test pertaining to legal research in a 60 minute period.
Fun.

You need to be medicated. I, once on narcotic cough medicine, told the professor in no uncertain terms that he was making absolutely no sense. I was a hero for my classmates.

Well, most of my professors make at least a bit of sense--if oftentimes in a rambling, almost impossible to understand the link between one idea and another, way. What frustrates me more is that the lectures and class discussions bring no additional insight to what I've read on my own.
But, I'll seriously consider the medication idea. It seems to have merit.
